Starting off with Snow | Fairfax County Maternity Photographer

I don’t know about you, but I am cautiously tiptoeing my way in to 2022. After the past two years, I am not making any declarations or decisions based on anything. I am just going to move ahead. My first few sessions of the year have been great and I have already met some new families but I have to say, it’s not often that I get to shoot a session in the snow. This beautiful couple reached out to me the night of the snow and said, “if we can all make it work, I’d like to proceed with the session”. It was a resounding “YES” for me. When we got to one of my favorite places the scene was just magical. Some times when I am able to shoot in the snow, the snow only covers some of the ground and not the trees. But this was something out of Narnia. It was beautiful. And including their beautiful pup, it was even more magical. Here are a few of my absolute favorites.
