Northern Virginia Cake Smash Photographer | Little Hurley is One

The sweet Hurley family holds a very special place in my heart.  Honestly, all my clients do.  If you become a part of the Sweet Pea Studios family, I can promise you that we will be friends when our session is done.  I genuinely want to know my clients.  I want to know their history of how they became them.  I can also promise you that I will talk about my family as much as I will love on yours.  I have had the distinct pleasure of photographing this beautiful family of three since before little Hurley was born.  Sarah was a stunning mama-to-be (you can check out that session here) and Stephen was definitely smitten with both his beautiful wife and new little boy that he couldn’t wait to meet.  Fast forward a few months later when James made his arrival.  A future Hokie he is and loved by so many (you can find that session here).  Both Sarah and Stephen were exhausted but completely in love with their new family of three.  We had some fantastic conversations about parenthood.

Now, a year later, little Hurley is turning one.  I, again, have had the complete honor to capture this time for his family.  While I can’t yet share the cake smash portion, I can share the few family shots were captured.  If this isn’t a family completely in love, then I don’t know what is.  Happy 1st Birthday, James.  It is a pleasure to watch you grow and I can’t wait to share the rest of your session soon.
