There are many things about this business that I love (as well as some that I don’t love). One of my all time favorite things is referrals and purchasing of gift certificates.  To me that is the ultimate compliment and it says,”I love your work so much I want someone else to love it too”.  That is just what happened here.  One of my clients, Melissa found me about two years ago through FB and I have photographed their family in different settings at least 4-5 times.  Right before Christmas she contacted me and told me her Brother and Sister-in-law were having a baby and she purchased them a gift certificate.

About three weeks later it was time for Jalen’s first photo shoot.  He was a dream.  He slept the entire time with the exception of the very end when he decided he was finally hungry.  His parents drove 45 minutes to the studio so I am sure he slept the entire car ride as well.  He transitioned nicely and didn’t make a sound. He was content in every position I put him in barely made a fuss.  We finished the whole session in just an hour and a half and he went right back to sleep.

I love this job so much and I am thankful that I am able to capture these precious moments for families.  It is truly a blessing that I don’t take lightly.  I look forward to capturing more firsts for this sweet family and all families that cross my path.
