If you have ever been to the Metropolitan Washington DC area you know what a huge mixing bowl it is. You could realistically be anywhere in 20 minutes if there was no traffic. Since it’s such a huge populated area it takes about an hour to get 15 miles. I have newborn and family clients that drive from DC, Maryland and all over Northern Virginia to come to my studio. This family came the furthest, driving about two hours from Maryland. It’s not easy keeping a newborn awake for two hours in a cozy car ride. It’s no wonder this sweet boy was bright eyed when he got to me.

Since he decided there was too much excitement happening and he wanted to be a part of it, he did not sleep but maybe 5 minutes. That was fine with us. He was very relaxed and let me do my thing. He didn’t make much noise and was more alert than most newborns. He was truly a joy, as his family. I look forward to watching him grow.
